Pokemon GO and fake GPS

Pokemon GO, according to the Wikipedia, is a free-to-play location-based augmented reality and alternate reality mobile game developed by Niantic and published by The Pokémon Company. It was released in July 2016 for iOS and Android devices. This game is taking over the world and its popularity is actually scary. Although Pokemon GO is new, people got in many troubles already because of it, being assaulted, stabbed, losing their jobs, getting ran over by cars, and so on. But it is to be expected considering that the game is meant to be played in the real world. And this brings me to the main topic of this post: Fake GPS.

Pokemon GO until now were released only in some parts of the globe. As you can see in this site https://www.ispokemongoavailableyet.com/

The fact that some has to wait while others are already capturing a bunch of powerful and cool pokemons seems unfair. Due to this fact, whoever wants to play the game in a country that doesn’t have it yet is using the APK site or just cheating using a fake GPS.

I live in Brazil, a large country that consume many products from Nitendo. We really enjoy playing games. The company on the other hand apparently ignoring this fact. People however is trying to comfort themselves into thinking that the Nitendo didn’t release the game here yet because they would need a really powerful serve to do so considering that the country would have a lot of players. This is a good excuse but I don’t buy it because the game was already released in the US.

Then it might sound like good idea, right? Faking your location and going to capture the pokemons in the central Park in a sunny day. NO. It is absolutely NOT a good idea.

First of all, it can overload the serve of other countries, once they are prepared to accommodate a maximum amount of people playing at the same time and this number is based on the population of that particularly country.  Second and most important: It goes against the WHOLE purpose of the game.

Capturing Pokemon in the real life world is the fun of everything. Yes, one may say that people look pretty dumb running away like animals with their cellphones in their hands just to catch pokemon, but come one! Running is good for healthy! Good to lose some weight and keep our heart beating!  

Also, people would probably keep using fake GPS even after the game reached their countries, just because it makes things easier if you live far away from a place where you can get itens or a certain type of Pokemon more easily.

For the time I’m writing this post, Pokemon was just released in Canada. Yeah. That’s really sad. They really hate Brazil. I’m going to say one last time though, lets not cheat. Please, people. While they are being unfair, let's be honest. I'm losing my hopes though. Maybe when the game comes to Brazil people won't even go outside to play anymore. Everybody would be with their fake GPS inside their homes because it is easier. 

Ban to all the cheaters! ~Ja ne.

10-year old Niina is special. This is because she has the memories of her past life as a girl named Chitose still intact. Among these memories is a promise with Chitose's boyfriend which Niina then decides to try and fulfill. But can she really?

My opinion:

It is going to be difficult to talk about this manga and not reveal any important information but I will do it. For you sake, mina-san! 

Just a quick note: 

The fact that the protagonist was once another girl that the male protagonist had loved in the past, and that she knows it, is not a spoiler since it is stated clearly since the very beginning and even in the synopses of the manga. Anyway, let’s start!

This is my second time reading Hajimari no Niina. If I’m not mistaken, I started to cry since the first pages I went through, both in my second and first time reading it. Each phrase, each character reactions, everything is full of sweet, sad, and interesting emotions. It makes you think about life, about your life, and about how time flies fast and that nothing is granted since the start. That we’re eventually are going to die and separate from everything we once loved and cherished. But it isn’t only drama. As most of the mangas, it has this Japanese comedy-like feels. It is also adorable and sometimes even funny.

This manga also deal with age gape. The main character Niina is 10 years old while the male protagonist is 25. But he isn’t loli con or anything lol lol their relationship progress in a really good and realistic pace. Nothing is rushed. Her love for him remains the same. As for him, he started to learn how to love this new version of Chitose (Nina), first in a friendly and very innocent way since she was still a kid.

It is interesting how the author was able to deal with the fact that he was still too much attached to the past. He was lonely and lost with his memories of how his beloved Chitose died and he couldn't do anything to save her. That he had let go of her hand when he shouldn't. 

Therefore although he was given a second change to be with his soul mate, it wouldn’t be never the same. He and she were new version of themselves. Him from being older, and she from being younger and in fact another person. He would have to start everything again and love the main character for who she was. Not for what she once had been in her previous life.

I do not particularly believe in reincarnation but I did like the way the author used the theme. She did a good job.

Actually she did a good job with everything. I can’t even say what I didn’t like. Everything was nice and satisfied. From the beginner to the end. I would be proud of myself if I had writing such touching story. It is just amazing.  Even if you do not like romance or drama, you should still read it. It might expand your concepts of life and of love.

Maybe I will do another post later on talking about this manga more deeply and with spoilers, who knows? For now, sayonara! 

Presentation

There are many advice out there for people that are starting a blog. One of them is: 

#Stick with only one main topic in your blog. 

Isn’t it useful? Doesn't it make sense? Imagine that you start to follow a blog that pretty much talks only about make up and then the author suddenly starts to post soccer related articles. It's totally uncomfortable and time consuming for the reader having to navigate through all that soccer bullshits just to find that perfect article about the topic they like, huh? Of course the owner of the blog can divide everything in different categories, but what about the imagine of the blog? The theme, the colours, the style. Can it be made in a way that suit all the topics the blog is about? Won't it look messy in the end? Yes, but I’m not here to follow the top ten "rules" to achieve success. I don’t see any point now in writing a blog to gain money, fame, or attention. I just want to share my idea with whoever wants to read them and to practice my English skills. And I do have many ideas. 

I’ve started bunch projects in the past and didn't finish any. It isn’t definitely the first blog I made and probably it isn’t going to be the last.  One of the greatest problem I faced was about what should i talk. I’m a person that really enjoys a lot of different subjects. I like Japanese animations, games, science, technology, pretty much everything. If I were to keep a different blog for each different area I’m fond of, I would need tons of blogs.

Therefore, I’m going to give my own piece of advice for whomever is planning in starting something in life:

#Be careful when following any advice. 

We're different individuals and we have to work to become the best we can be. People can help us in doing so, but don’t let they think for you all the time. Also, don't try always to pleased your readers. We do write for ourselves in the first place, right?
